BurgerIM

BurgerIM is a burger restaurant located on 121S. High St. It is situated in the downtown area of Columbus, Ohio. It specializes in burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings and a host of bar food sides. It also has a bar featured inside. I really loved the concept they have, it's the right size and you can have a mixed drink or beer along with your food. I have heard so much about it, that I decided to try it on my own.

Today, I decided to try the Angus beef patty with leaf lettuce, roma tomato, pickles and shaved onion along with bacon and a side of the BurgerIM fries. The fries kind of remind me of the buffalo chips you get at BW3. I purchased an order of wings. I wasn't sure which sauce to try, so the young lady suggested the Sweet crunchy chili. She was right, they were delicious. They were crunchy and had a good flavor. The sauce was not overpowering and had a little spice. Not too much where you couldn't enjoy them. They were some of the best wings I have ever tasted. I ordered my burger medium well because I think that's where you get the most flavor. The burger was juicy, but lacked a little flavor. I added a little bit of salt. BurgerIM did have a house sauce that I thought was good, but it still needed a little seasoning. I could tell that the burger was probably frozen, because they didn't advertise it fresh. The fries were delicious. They were not hard and were plentiful. There was a little crisp on the outside and flaky on the inside. They offer a kids menus along with milkshakes and a variety of chicken and burger items such as Falafel, Hawaiian Salmon and Spanish beef.

The service from the waitress was good. She kept my pop filled up and brought me ketchup and dressing for my wings. She probably could have asked if I wanted any ketchup or sauce for my wings but those things are minor. However, sometimes it separates you from the competition. I didn't receive my bacon on my sandwich, they brought it out after I mentioned it to them. There were 2 or 3 owners in the building, but no one came over and apologized for the mistake.

Overall my experience was good besides a few glitches, but that shouldn't stop you from going. I did see the owners saying thank you as people were leaving. You don't see that anymore in restaurants, especially from the owners. They all had on mask and were practicing social distancing. Please, I ask everyone visiting restaurants to make sure you are abiding their mask rules. A lot of these business can't afford to have to shut down again because people were not adhering to the rules that they have in place.

The had a room for a large gathering in case you wanted to have a party. I will return.
