The Royce is located at 8791 Lyra Dr. Columbus, Ohio 43210. It's next to Benihana Japanese Steakhouse.
It serves up a most moderate to formal type of menu. From a N.Y Strip steak to a Pan Seared Salmon to a Royce Burger. Their sides and starters are very well prepared with a range of choices.

Today, I tried the N.Y. Strip with Chimichurri and garlic butter, with BBQ spice carrots, Kimchi Potatoes and Mac and Cheese. For starters, I ordered deviled eggs and Guajillo Glazed Pork Belly.
This was a lot of food, but it was all worth it. I ordered the steak medium well. There was a little fat on the edge, but that's what gave its flavor. It was tender and seasoned with the right amount of herbs and topped with the Chimichurri and butter. The Kimchi Potatoes are twice cooked Yukon potatoes with cabbage kimchi and caramelized soy with herbs. They were soft on the inside and the skin was cooked to perfection. The Mac and Cheese was delicious. It was cooked with a creamy cheddar sauce and had tons of bacon on top. It could have used a little more seasoning, but otherwise it tasted great.
This is the first time I have ever had Pork Belly. It had a crispy layer on top with street corn salsa and cilantro. Pork belly was tender and not overcooked. It had a little bit of red glaze that looked spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all. The serving was fulfilling. My other starter was deviled eggs with chopped pickle, dill and fried chicken crunch. The egg yolk was whipped and seasoned with dill dressing. I added a little salt on mine.
I normally don't eat dessert because by then I'm stuffed. This time I decided to try Patsy's Peach Cobbler with sweet peaches, pie crust and vanilla bean ice cream. The peaches were real sweet and the crust was flaky. I wish there was more crust to mix with the ice cream.
Overall, this was a great experience. The service was fantastic, I was greeted with a smile by the owner and was seated right away. The young gentlemen who waited on me was the greatest. He was patient and informative. He kept my glass filled and answered any questions I may have had. The place was clean and everyone wore mask.
They had outside seating. If you want to take someone special or just have a good meal with friends, this is the place.
My final review: My rating is between 1-5. One meaning needs improvement and five being the best.
